Although never sold as an official model, an RT fairing kit was available for the R65 and I believe that it was available to order. The machine below was apparently marketed in small numbers by BMW France in 1983 as an R65RT and produced in Magenta Red with Gold pinstriping. Some Police Forces also used the R65RT.
